Alex Trollip is a Vice President of Research at HarrisX, where she leads the company’s APAC hub from Melbourne. With nearly a decade of experience in research and strategy, Alex specialises in global research, with a particular focus on understanding consumers, brands and public opinion across markets. She is primarily a quantitative researcher, with additional experience in qualitative research, and works across brand building and tracking, technology and AI, public affairs, health and international consumer research. Alex has conducted research across more than 30 countries and worked with leading global brands, media organisations and institutions on some of their most pressing commercial and reputational questions. Her work has included research on AI adoption and trust, corporate reputation, consumer behaviour, brand and issue tracking, audience attention, elections and policy. She is also a contributor to the monthly Harvard-Harris Poll, and her research has been featured in publications including Forbes, Variety and The Wall Street Journal. Originally from Australia, Alex began her career at National Australia Bank in 2017 before moving to Washington, DC, where she spent more than five years working across research, consulting and technology policy. She holds a Master’s in Government from Georgetown University and studied at the University of Melbourne. She returned to Melbourne in 2025 to help build HarrisX’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region, bringing together her experience in public affairs, global research and commercial strategy.
