The Challenge:

HarrisX was commissioned to conduct independent exit polling of the October 2024 parliamentary election in the country of Georgia.

The HarrisX exit poll and our post-election analysis showed that the official results published by the government-alignedCentral Election Commission were, simply put, statistically impossible.

Polling locations selected for national, regional, and district representativeness and based on past voting behavior to ensure accuracy

Published a full analytical report within days, detailing statistical anomalies in the official vote count

The Results

HarrisX detected statistically implausible voting patterns in at least 27 of Georgia’s 73 counties, estimating up to 172,000 potentially fraudulent votes (about 8% of total turnout).

The exit poll provided the first empirical evidence of possible irregularities, the findings were submitted to the European Parliament, and the report was subsequently cited by President Salome Zourabichhvili, opposition leaders, and international media.
